Miss Amy Norcombe – Principal

Amy has been dancing with Stapleton School of Dancing since the age of three working her way up through the grades of ballet, tap, modern and jazz. After leaving school, she went on to study dance at Dance Academy South West. This gave her the opportunity to appear on stage at the Bristol Hippodrome in performances such as “Aida” and “Turandot”.

Miss Miranda Beard

My dance tuition began at Stapleton School of Dancing (SSD) under Miss Short, who founded the school in 1942. I continued my training at Bristol College of Dancing where I achieved my RAD Teacher Certificate with Distinction.
As well as training to become a teacher I also enjoyed a successful professional career.

Miss Jane Hamrouni

Miss Jane began dancing at the age of 3 and it has been her life ever since.
She trained at the Bristol School of Dancing in Clifton and received her training qualifications, (AISTD). She performed in pantomimes and was a member of a Road Show Cabaret touring the Isle of Wight and South Coast before travelling further afield to dance in various shows on some beautiful islands - Crete, Fuerteventura, Corsica and different countries including, Greece, Turkey and Tunisia. She moved on to Choreography and dance extensively throughout Europe with the German holiday company Robinson Club which is where she eventually met her husband!
